On Sunday, February 4th at 6:30 pm every sports fan far and near will tune in to watch the Philadelphia Eagles go against the New England Patriots to see who will be the Super Bowl LII champion. The game will be played in Minneapolis, Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium making this the second time that the Super Bowl will be played in Minnesota. The last time a game was played in the U.S. Bank Stadium was in 1992 when the Washington Redskins faced the Buffalo Bills. The last time the Eagles and Patriots met was in 2005 at Super Bowl XXXIX, where the Eagles lost 24-21 to the New England Patriots who became champions once again. The Patriots have won the Super Bowl in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2015 and 2017. The Patriots don't hold the spot for most super bowl rings, but they do hold the spot for most Super Bowl rings for a single franchise with the same QB, Tom Brady, and head coach, Bill Belichick .During this 2017 season Carson Wentz and Tom Brady were they only two quarterbacks that finished with a record of 13 games won and only 3 loses. This game will prove which team is the best and which QB will get a ring, will Tom Brady get a 6th ring or will Carson Wentz get his first ring.
This year P!nk will be performing the national anthem and Justin Timberlake will be performing the halftime show. This will be Justin Timberlake’s 3rd appearance at the super bowl: the first time was in 2001 with *NSYNC and his second was with Janet Jackson in 2004. Everyone who watches the Super Bowl watches to see all the commercials just as much as for the game, and one of those 30 second commercials cost 7.7 million dollars. Everyone knows and loves the Budweiser Horses and all the commercials they've been in, but this year Budweiser is doing a commercial that promotes the business by sending bottled water to countries in crisis. There haven't been many commercials leaked that will premiere during the Super Bowl, so we will see if the Budweiser Horses will make their awaited debut for commercial that everyone loves.
